Episode 33 Part 1 The Power of Gratitude meets The Impact of Women
This is a special episode series where 8 women share heartfelt and powerful letters of gratitude to women who have impacted their lives. These are 8 letters written by women, for women, and they are a surprise for the recipients. The intention of this activity is to shift the perspectives of the authors and recipients and to create a ripple effect among our greater community in honor of Women’s History Month.
In this episode you will learn these “totally rad” tips:
- How practicing gratitude has many benefits including, increase of coping skills, increase of self-worth, decrease in symptoms of depression and anxiety, better cardiac health, increase in achievements of personal goals, decrease in physical pain, and an increase in overall happiness.
- How writing letters of gratitude including both writing and reading these letters aloud, elevates the mood and decreases responses to stress.
- How practicing gratitude, expressing value and kindness toward fellow women can cultivate a supportive culture.
