Episode 50 Finding life after loss

Episode #50

Eric Hodgdon is an author, speaker, and coach. His book, “A Sherpa named Zoe”, is a number 1 bestseller. He was also a speaker for TedX Youngstown. After Eric lost his 15-year-old daughter to suicide, he has dedicated his life’s work to helping others manage their grief and find life after loss.  Through his book, speaking events, and coaching, it has been Eric’s mission to help people to know that they do not need to walk alone in their grief journey and that they can honor their loved ones by living life with intention.

In this episode, you will learn these “totally rad” tips

  • How time is a companion when dealing with loss and human connection is the key to managing grief.
  • How grief is individual and every step (no matter how big or small)  is a step forward.
  • How sharing your experience and struggle can help in the healing process.
  • How you can honor your loved one by continuing to live your life after loss. The memory does not stop with their death, rather it carries on through your living.
  • How leaning into your character strengths can help you through the grieving process.
  • If you have experienced loss Eric has generously given our listeners a Grief Survival Guide
